CGT – HMRC provide paper return for UK property reporting

01 Mar 2023

HMRC have made available a download of the paper version of the CGT return for reporting the disposal of UK property (CGT PPD). Previously taxpayers had to request a copy over the phone.

The return should usually be made online unless certain circumstances apply.

A CGT PPD account reference is required for the paper return and taxpayers may need to obtain this before filling in the return.
