The short Finance Bill that was introduced to enact changes announced in the Autumn statement has completed its Commons stages and is now set to be enacted as drafted in the Bill. No amendments have been made during the passage through the Commons (and the Lords will not be able to change the wording).
Key changes include:
- Research and development
- Income tax – additional rate threshold
- Income tax – dividend nil rate
- CGT – annual exempt amount
