HMRC have published updated figures for tax receipts, including “the latest provisional receipts data from April 2022, and revisions to data in April 2021 to March 2022”.
The figures include income tax, CGT, NIC, VAT, various business taxes, stamp taxes, ATED, IHT and a range of other taxes and duties.
For income tax, CGT and NIC, “receipts for April 2022 to December 2022 are £299.3 billion, which is £34.0 billion higher than in the same period a year earlier”.
